To practice traditional Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), a philosophical approach and gentle, hands-on treatment that balances and enhances the body’s innate healing capacity and expression of health.

What to expect?
Patients begin by sharing their history, gathering information about birth, nutrition, injuries or traumatic events, physical or emotional trauma, and medical history. Using an understanding of the patient’s narrative, the practitioner provides a holistic, whole body structural examination. Osteopathic physicians are trained to palpate (feel) the body’s tissue textures and fluids, as well as to evaluate structural motion and restrictions. The practitioner uses a gentle, hands-on manipulative technique to support the return of motion and balance to areas of restriction, weakness, and disintegration.
Osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) is intended for patients looking to re-engage the natural health of their body and support vital flow.
